The 12th Forum of the Burmese in Europe (FBE)

13-14 December 2008

Forum of the Burmese in Europe (FBE), a network of Burmese émigrés, was founded by senior Burmese exiles from Germany and the UK in the 1990s. The forum has been held at least once a year, and sometimes twice a year, in different European cities to keep up Burma campaigns in Europe and to expand the network of the Burmese activists in Europe and beyond. Over the years it has become an important venue for sharing information among the Burmese politicians and activists from Europe and beyond. It has also become an important event in raising awareness about Burma in host countries since the forum’s delegates are usually received by the representatives of the governments and civil societies from host countries.

At the 11^th forum in Helsinki in June 2008, Sweden has been nominated as the venue for the 12^th forum. In the 12th FBE the Burma’s political situations and the results of the 11^th FBE programs during June to December 2008 will be discussed.

 Lately, the Europe wide cooperative systematic activities, agendas pro national reconciliation and peace would be discussed. Afterward, the mobile discussions of the invited ethnics’ representatives around Sweden also have arranged. The language of the Forum is Burmese. In this forum, the accommodation for whom 30 Europe wide regular representatives and 20 Sweden residential representatives, altogether 50 populations are valid. The contact and registration ahead the 31^st October 2008 might require thus the food and accommodation could be conveniently facilitated.

ဥေရာပေရာက္ ျမန္မာမ်ား ေတြ႔ဆုံေဆြးေႏြးပြဲ (Forum of Burmese in Europe [ FBE ] ) ကို ၁၉၉၀ ျပည့္လြန္ႏွစ္မ်ားတြင္ ဂ်ာမဏီႏုိင္ငံႏွင့္ အဂၤလန္ႏုိင္ငံတြင္ ေရာက္ရွိေနၾကေသာ ျပည္ပေရာက္ ျမန္မာႏုိင္ငံသား အတုိက္အခံ အင္အားစုမ်ားက စတင္ခဲ့ပါသည္။ FBE ကုိ ႏုိင္ငံေရးသမားမ်ား၊ တတ္ႂကြ လႈပ္ရွားသူမ်ားႏွင့္ အျခားေသာ ႏုိင္ငံေရး လႈပ္ရွားသူမ်ား ဆက္သြယ္ေရး ကြန္ယက္ ေကာင္းမြန္ေစရန္၊ ဥေရာပႏုိင္ငံမ်ားတြင္ တႏွစ္လွ်င္ ႏွစ္ႀကိမ္ က်င္းပေလ့ ရွိပါသည္။ ထုိေၾကာင့္ ဤေဆြးေႏြးပြဲသည္ ဥေရာပ ေရာက္ အတုိက္အခံ ႏုိင္ငံေရးသမားမ်ား၊ တတ္ႂကြ လႈပ္ရွားသူမ်ားအတြက္ အေရးပါေသာ ေနရာေလးတစ္ခု ျဖစ္လာခဲ့ပါသည္။ အစည္းအေဝး က်င္းပရာ အိမ္ရွင္ႏုိင္ငံမွ အစုိးရအဖြဲ႕ဝင္မ်ား၊ အစုိးရမဟုတ္ေသာ အဖြဲ႕ အစည္းမ်ားမွ ပုဂၢဳိလ္မ်ားက FBE ကုိယ္စားလွယ္အဖြဲ႔ကုိ လက္ခံ ေတြ႕ဆုံေသာေၾကာင့္၊ ျမန္မာႏုိင္ငံ၏ အေျခအေန အရပ္ရပ္ကုိ အိမ္ရွင္ႏုိင္ငံအတြင္း ပုိမုိသိရွိေအာင္ စြမ္းေဆာင္ လာႏုိင္ေစပါသည္္။  ဖင္လန္ႏုိင္ငံ၊ ဟယ္စင္ကီၿမိဳ႕တြင္ (၁၁) ႀကိမ္ေျမာက္ FBE ကုိက်င္းပ ခဲ့ၿပီး၊ (၁၂) ႀကိမ္ ေျမာက္အျဖစ္ ဆြီဒင္ႏုိင္ငံတြင္ က်င္းပရန္ ေရြးခ်ယ္ခဲ့ၾကပါသည္။ ဤ (၁၂) ႀကိမ္ေျမာက္ ေဆြးေႏြးပြဲႀကီးတြင္  ဇြန္လ မွ ဒီဇင္ဘာလ အတြင္း ျဖစ္ေပၚခဲ့ေသာ ျမန္မာျပည္ဆုိင္ရာ အေျခအေနမ်ား၊ ၁၁ ႀကိမ္ေျမာက္ ဥေရာပ ေရာက္ ျမန္မာမ်ား ေတြ႔ ဆုံေဆြးေႏြးပြဲမွ လုပ္ငန္းစဥ္မ်ား၏ ရလဒ္မ်ားကို သုံးသပ္ျခင္း၊ ေဆြးေႏြးျခင္းႏွင့္ ေဆြးေႏြးပြဲ အၿပီး သက္ဆုိင္ရာ ႏုိင္ငံ အလုိက္ ပႈးေပါင္း လႈပ္ရွားႏုိင္မည့္ အေျခ အေန အရပ္ရပ္ကုိ ဆုံးျဖတ္ ႏုိင္ေရး အျပင္ ျမန္မာႏုိင္ငံ ရင္ၾကားေစ့ေရး၊ ျငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရး အတြက္ ေရွ႕ ဆက္လုပ္ေဆာင္ ရမည့္ အခ်က္မ်ားကုိ ဆုံးျဖတ္ၾက မည္ ျဖစ္ပါသည္။  ညီလာခံ အၿပီး တြင္ အထူး ဖိတ္ၾကားထား ေသာ  တုိင္းရင္းသား ကုိယ္စားလွယ္ အသီးသီးမွ ဆြီဒင္ ႏုိင္ငံ အတြင္း လွည့္လည္ ကာ ေဆြးေႏြးပြဲ မ်ား က်င္းပႏုိင္ရန္ အတြက္ လည္း စီစဥ္ထားပါသည္။ ေဆြးေႏြးပြဲ တြင္ အသုံးျပဳမည့္ ဘာသာရပ္ မွာ  ျမန္မာဘာသာ စကား ျဖစ္ပါသည္။ တတ္ေရာက္ လာၾကမည့္ ဧည့္သည္ေတာ္ မ်ားသည္ မိမိ တတ္ေရာက္ လိုေၾကာင္းႏွင့္ ည အိပ္ တည္းခုိ ရန္ အတြက္ စီစဥ္ေပး ႏုိင္ေစရန္ အလုိ႔ငွာ

၂၀၀၈ ခုႏွစ္၊ ေအာက္တုိဘာလ ၃၁ မတုိင္မီ ႀကိဳတင္ ဆက္သြယ္ မွတ္ပုံတင္သြင္းရန္ လုိအပ္သည္။ အဆုိပါေဆြးေႏြးပြဲတြင္  အၿမဲတမ္း တက္ေရာက္ေနေသာ ဥေရာပႏုိင္ငံ အသီးသီး မွ ကုိယ္စားလွယ္ ၃၀ ဦး၊ အိမ္ရွင္ (ဆြီဒင္) ႏုိင္ငံမွ ကုိယ္စားလွယ္ ၂၀ ဦး၊ စုစုေပါင္း ၅၀ ဦးအတြက္ ညအိပ္ တည္းခုိ ႏုိင္ရန္ စီစဥ္ထားရာ မိမိတို႔ တက္ေရာက္လုိပါက ႀကိဳတင္ မွတ္ပုံတင္ စာရင္းသြင္းရန္ လုိအပ္ပါသည္။
